Follow the vinyl production process from your first quote to finished records, with the documents and preparation guides needed at each step.
From the quote to delivery, here is what we need from you, what happens at the plant and which documents to use. Your individual agreement sets the exact specification, payment schedule and delivery commitment.
01 · Quote and specification
Tell us the artist, title, quantity, number of discs, playing time per side, weight, speed, colour and packaging. Include your planned release date and delivery destination. We confirm a workable specification and price together.
02 · We prepare your agreement draft
Do not fill in or sign the sample contract. Simply send your customer and billing details, contact name, phone, email, delivery details and agreed release specification to info@hanaton.hu. We prepare and send a draft for you to review. Only sign the final version after any corrections have been agreed.
03 · Copyright clearance
Arrange the rights needed to reproduce and release the music and recording. Send the required clearance documents with your production materials. Complete the copyright declaration accurately; it does not replace permissions required from other rights holders or a relevant collecting society.
04 · Final audio, cue sheet and artwork
Use the upload link we provide to submit the checked final audio, the matching cue sheet and print files made with the appropriate templates. Clearly identify each side and version in the filenames. Avoid competing “final” versions; always discuss a later replacement with us explicitly.
05 · File checks, advance payment, cutting and metalwork
We check production suitability and request clarification where needed. Pay the first instalment according to the agreement. Approved materials and the agreed advance determine when the production lead time starts. Cutting and manufacture of the metal stampers then prepare the record for pressing.
06 · Test pressings and written approval
We send three black test copies. Listen using our checking guide and raise any issue before approval. The full run starts only after written acceptance. If a correction is needed, we agree the remedy, responsibility for costs and revised timing.
07 · Pressing, packaging and delivery
After approval we manufacture and package the records as agreed. Further payments follow the contractual schedule. We arrange dispatch with you; check the parcels and products on receipt and report discrepancies within the periods specified in the manufacturing terms.
